Dani Mangun. Gymnast. Olympic lifter. CrossFitter. Runner. Mountain Biker. She does it all. I had the opportunity to take these fitness photos of Dani on one FREAKING cold day. She braved the cold though and we were able to get some awesome shots of this girls fit physique! I asked Dani to write up a little bit about her fitness and views on health.
"My fitness experience began at four with gymnastic and I started CrossFit last Septemeber and have been doing it on and off for a little over a year. My favorite thing about Crossfit is any lifts that are overhead and the gymnastics movements. Other activities include anything on a board, I also try to ski, and have mountain biked for two years now! My husband and I will be married for a year April 27th and have been together for almost three. He is a Fireman and we love to workout together in our garage gym and he kills it on a mountain bike.
I LOVE food! I am very conscious about what I eat but I definitely have a sweet tooth. We are pretty good about not keeping junkfood in our house and we load up on veggies...I can't cut them all up at once or I will eat them all in a one day.
Fitness...excersise gives me endorphines and endorphines make me happy! That's why it's so important to me, I like to feel happy:)
I also would like to include that anyone who hasn't tried CrossFit should give it a shot. You never know what your missing out on until you try something new!"
