CrossFit Games Site Articles

I got the opportunity to help Ivory Carr with a few articles this year for the CrossFit Games website. Her writing. My photos. We are tackling one story at a time in the Northwest. I've had a lot of fun taking the photos for these articles and glad to be able to help share the stories that so many are inspired to tell in the CrossFit community.

Community. It's a powerful thing and boy can CrossFit spread some love, hope, inspiration and just plain old guts! Only a fraction of CrossFit is about getting in shape. It's about how much heart you've got. How deep you're willing to dig. It gets under your skin and branches out to so many aspects of your life you can't help but share it. And support- that runs thick in your blood once you've drank the koolaid, you just can't help it.

Please go to the CrossFit games site to read the articles! There are two of them! also here are a few photos from the shoots we did for them!

Ryker

13 days old. This little man with his big beautiful eyes was so much fun. Rea and Johnny were absolutely the sweetest to do a lifestyle session for. They made me breakfast and invited me into their home like I was family. Marley, their two year old daughter, was a totally adorable little nugget who followed me around telling me stories and giggling the whole morning. I was so honored to be able to go  into their home to do these photos for them. Have I mentioned before that I just LOVE lifestyle sessions in people's homes. Anyone like to invite me over to make cookies, build a sand castle, sing a song, or eat spaghetti because I would just be in love with a session like that <3

Meet Ryker.

Hello World.

Callianne + Kelly

A love story in a beautiful setting with two very charming folks. I had the opportunity to take engagements for Miss Callianne and her Fiancé Kelly at Celebration Park in Melba, ID.

It. Was. Breathtaking. So happy to have found yet another amazing location in Idaho. Kelly, like 99% of the men I shoot, said he felt awkward. Which I responded, "If it makes you feel any better, I don't! I'm used to this so just do your thing, look at her!" And that's just what he did, giving me the most genuine and kind smiles to work with. I'm so excited to spend the day in Burns, OR with these two kids on their big day this Fall. Now here are some gems from their shoot last week.
